Despite many boats sunk by typhoon Yagi still awaiting salvage, tourism activities at Tuan Chau International Port have resumed.

According to Quang Ninh authorities, ten days after the storm, Ha Long Bay welcomed around 30,000 visitors, nearly 90% of whom were foreigners.

Van Don Airport was bustling again on Thursday afternoon after suffering severe damage.

The storm uprooted 80% of green trees in public areas, shattered glass roofs, and damaged directional signs, ceilings, and metal roofs at the airport.

In the international terminal area, rainwater flooded the equipment rooms, and the fence surrounding the control tower tilted, with a section near the aircraft apron collapsing. As soon as the storm subsided, airport staff began restoration efforts to prepare for the resumption of passenger services.
