Kye Nguyen is set to work as a stylist for Chinese movie star Fan Bingbing in a project next month.

The 33-year-old stylist said the project is part of a series of activities marking Bingbing's return this year. Kye will work as a stylist for Bingbing in photoshoots for magazine covers.

Kye sent his profile to Bingbing’s agent in late 2022 and received a work invitation in February. He’s set to be in Beijing from April 15 to April 20 to work with the famous actress in photoshoots.

"In addition to outfits from famous fashion houses, I want to take this chance to introduce Vietnamese designs to international stars," Kye said.

Currently, Kye is spending time learning basic Chinese so that he can communicate with Bingbing at work. He said he’s not under pressure because he has worked on many projects before.

Bingbing caught the attention of the public when she appeared at a fashion event in the United States this month, following a five-year hiatus after being caught up in a tax evasion scandal. According to On, Bingbing hopes to promote more activities abroad, including movies, fashion and advertising.

The 41-year-old is one of the most famous actresses in China. Since her career started in 1996, Bingbing has starred in nearly 100 movies and TV series, winning multiple accolades.

Kye Nguyen, whose real name is Nguyen Tuan Kiet, has 10 years of experience in the fashion industry. He was originally a dancer, but later became a stylist and worked with many famous designers as well as with celebrities around the country. He’s also a fashion designer and owns a stylist training academy.

In early March, Kye collaborated with Miss Universe to prepare outfits for the 2022 winner R'Bonney Gabriel and runner-up Andreína Martínez during their business trip to Vietnam.
