The Hollywood actress’ choice was a red cutout pleated satin dress, part of Tri's 2023 S/S collection released last September.
She completed her look in a trendy manner by matching the design with platform shoes, which have been in vogue for the last two years.
This is the second time Atwell wore a Cong Tri dress to a public event. She was seen in another black-and-white cutout organza dress, which was part of the Vietnamese designer's 2022 F/W collection, when she attended the 76th British Academy Film Awards earlier this year.
Atwell, 41, is best known for her portrayal of Peggy Carter in several Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films. She has received various prestigious nominations and awards throughout her career, and she’s been called "the queen of period-drama" by The Guardian.
Tri, 45, established his fashion brand in 2009. His designs have been chosen by various A-list celebrities including Adele, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, Charlize Theron, Dakota Johnson, Rosé and Lisa (Black Pink), Katy Perry and Rihanna.
His Spring/Summer 2023 collection was featured in the American edition of Vogue magazine.
