It took the wedding planner team four days to complete setting up Linnie Phan and Jimmy Phan’s wedding ceremony, which was inspired by the “Alice in Wonderland” movie.

The couple held a second wedding ceremony in the bride’s hometown, Vietnam’s imperial city of Hue, last month, after their first wedding ceremony with the same theme in the United States.
It is reported that their U.S. wedding cost a hefty amount of VND21 billion (around $884,000).

Phi Diep, the wedding planner and decoration team’s spokesperson, said he and the love birds started planning for their wedding ceremony at the beginning of the year. The decoration concept was "mystical forest."
The ceremony was initially supposed to be held in a ballroom, but changed to an outdoor party later.

The couple and the team worked well together, making the planning and preparation processes smooth.
Linnie likes the shape of the butterfly wings, so the planner team decided to make a huge butterfly in holographic colors for the main stage.

Green, purple, pastel blue, and pink were chosen as the main tones of the party’s decoration.
Cold smoke was used to create a dreamy and mystical vibe for the party.

The vibe was combined with warm yellow lighting.

Three tonnes of leaves were delivered from the northern mountainous region to Hue to serve the decoration.
Many flowers in the colors of blue and purple, both imported from overseas and originating from the central highlands city of Da Lat, were used. A lot among them were rare flowers and the team had to make reservations with farm owners in Da Lat months in advance.

a

The setup process took from July 20 to 23. The team had to work overnight for two nights.

a

The weather changed a lot in Hue during those days. It rained during the first days and was sunny during the latter days.

a

The team set up misting systems in the hall to water the flowers and keep their freshness.

a

Flowers and leaves, combined with light bulbs, were attached to the ceiling, making the whole hall full of lights.

a

The wedding cake was decorated with pastel blue orchids, which matched the bride’s bouquet of blue and purple tulips.

The wedding’s stationery set included the groom’s and the bride’s vows, wedding invitations, and wedding agenda.
The couple went viral for their ultra-extravagant wedding gifts, which were 26 pieces of land, earlier this month.
Linnie, 32, is an eyebrow tattooist. Her Instagram account has over 300,000 followers. Jimmy, 41, is a businessman and real estate investor.
The couple first dated in 2013 and split after six months. They met each other again in 2020, this time realizing they were "born for each other," before getting married.
They said they donated all the money they received as wedding gifts.
