Top supermodel Thanh Hang ties knot with conductor

The ceremony started early in the morning at the supermodel’s home in HCMC. Only a small number of relatives and close friends of the couple attended the event.

Hang donned a red ao dai with sequins that was tailored to order by designer Adrian Anh Tuan. She completed her appearance with a natural makeup look.

Hang said when asked the reason that motivated her to marry Minh: "He [Minh] has worked on a symphony of happiness for himself for a long time, and now he needs a final musical note in order for it to be completed...and I have that worthy note."

The couple is set to hold a wedding party on Sunday evening at a hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. Many celebrity friends of theirs will attend the event, including pop singer Ho Ngoc Ha and her Vietnamese-Swedish actor husband Kim Ly, supermodel Lan Khue, actor Luong Manh Hai, and Miss International Queen title winner Huong Giang.

Hang, 40, was born Pham Thi Thanh Hang in Da Nang. She became Miss Photo Vietnam in 2002, then began a professional modeling career. She has hosted the reality show Vietnam's Next Top Model for many years, and she also coached on the 2018 reality show The Face.

With two decades of modeling experience, she is considered one of the top supermodels in Vietnam.

In addition to modeling, Hang has also starred in several movies and TV series, including: "Nhung Co Gai Chan Dai" (Girls With Long Legs), "Tuyet Nhiet Doi" (Tropical Snow) and "Nu Hon Than Chet" (Kiss of the Death).

Minh, 42, graduated with a master’s degree in Russia and is currently working at the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera.

Hang said yes to Minh’s proposal in August. Minh then brought his orchestra, the Saigon Pops Orchestra, to the reality show "The New Mentor," in which Hang participated as one of the mentors, as a way to support his life partner.
