Star footballer, beauty queen girlfriend tie the knot

The couple completed their marriage registration on Vietnamese Women’s Day at the local people’s committee.

Hau announced the news to his friends and fans. He said he has signed many contracts and gifts for his fans throughout his life, but putting his autograph on his marriage certificate was his most special experience to date.

Hau proposed to My last month. The former beauty pageant contestant said she and Hau were planning to hold their engagement ceremony soon, while their wedding ceremony was scheduled to be held early next year.

Hau, 24, gained popularity after becoming a regular starter in the national football team and winning a SEA Games gold medal with the team in 2018.

He and My, 22, were introduced to each other through mutual connections. A few months after My attended the 2020 Miss Vietnam contest and made it to the top 10, they started dating.

The couple publicized their relationship in 2022. Hau has been seen joining My’s family on various trips, while My has been seen supporting Hau at many of his matches.
