The bride, Jacob, said in a Facebook post that she and her husband, Bondal, wanted to show their gratitude to their guests, who took out time in their schedules to celebrate the couple’s big day in Tagaytay, reported Filipino news portal PhilStar.

According to Filipino news site Preview Philippines, the couple owns an online businesses that sells designer items.

The newlyweds do not come from wealthy families, according to sources. They even had it so hard a couple of years ago when they worked in the United Arab Emirates as migrant workers that they could not invite anyone to their initial nuptials, according to reports.

Thus, when they could finally have a more complete ceremony this time, their desire to thank the guests who came to celebrate their big day was even stronger, sources said.

It has been reported that the couple also specifically asked their guests not to bring any gifts for them.
