The event in the Brazilian city of Cuiabá had a freak ending when Matheus Oliveira took to the stage and threw the winner’s crown to the floor, breaking it into pieces, after his wife was announced as the runner-up, according to the Daily Mail.
Becker, the representative of Cuiabá, was hugging Emanuelly Belini, the representative of Várzea Grande and winner of the contest, when Oliveira came to the stage, snatched the crown from the previous winner and hurled it to the floor.
After that, he grabbed his partner’s hair and pulled her off stage. Responding to shouts and disapproval from the audience, he picked the crown up from the ground before smashing it a second time.

Contest security guards had to go onto the stage and remove the furious husband.
"He did not consider the result fair and caused all this inconvenience and damage," said Malone Haenisch, a representative of the organizers.
Organizers are planning to contact local police and take legal action against Oliveira, according to reports.
