The Giang brothers have around a month to prepare for a new Guinness World Record attempt in Italy, which will be the final international competition of their acrobatic career.

Giang Quoc Co said they will fly to Milan early next month to carry out their highly difficult balancing act on February 7, at the invitation of the Guinness World Records.

During the head-to-head balancing act, both men will be blindfolded as they go up 10 steps, walk across a 10-meter road, and then go down 10 steps. The road is only 50 centimeters wide.

Quoc Co said earlier this week that this performance is "very dangerous and hard" because he can't see how his brother, Giang Quoc Nghiep, is maintaining his balance. On top of that, they only have a month to prepare and practice for the event.

He also revealed that this is the last international performance that the two of them will do together in their 20-year career as circus performers, noting that this is because neither of them is young anymore.

After this Guinness World Record attempt, they will only do shows in Vietnam.

At the moment, the circus brothers are practicing by heading up and down an iron ladder that resembles the one in the real challenge.

Due to their busy schedules, the brothers didn't have a chance to train much with each other last year.

In December 2021, they broke their own world record for steps climbed while balancing a person on the head at the same venue they set their earlier record.

At the Saint Mary's Cathedral in Girona, Spain, the brothers climbed 100 steps in 53 seconds, 10 steps more than in 2016.

The duo had set a Guinness Record in 2016 by climbing the church’s 90 steps in 52 seconds.

In 2018, the Vietnamese brothers set another record in Italy by walking up and down 10 steps while blindfolded, completing the act in just 53.97 seconds.

Quoc Co war born in 1984 and Quoc Nghiep in 1989. Both joined circus troupes when they were four and five years old, and have been performers since 1999.

The daredevil gymnast brothers gave a performance that impressed both the judges and the audience at Britain's Got Talent 2018, finishing in the top three.
