2,500 dishes to be served in billionaire Mukesh Ambani heir’s pre-wedding feast

The festivities, heralding the couple’s forthcoming nuptials on July 12, will unfold over a luxurious three-day affair from Mar. 1-3. It features a meticulously selected team of 21 chefs from the Jardin Hotel in the Indian city of Indore, who were flown to the city of Jamnagar specifically for this occasion, as reported by the Economic Times.

Citing ABP News, the Economic Times report details that this culinary team is tasked with crafting a diverse menu that encompasses Thai, Japanese, Mexican, Parsi, and Pan Asian flavors. The breakfast menu will boast at least 75 different items, lunches will feature over 225 varieties, and dinners are set to present 275 distinct dining experiences. Additionally, the midnight snack selection, available from midnight to 4 a.m., will include 85 varied options.

There will also be an "Indore Sarafa Food Counter" presented, which will offer renowned regional specialties from Indore, all seasoned with authentic spices transported from the city of Indore to ensure genuine flavors.

As reported by The Times of India, Ambani and Merchant’s pre-wedding event is expected to draw luminaries from the realms of business, technology, and entertainment, with distinguished guests such as Bill and Melinda Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Ivanka Trump, and members of the Bhutanese royal family in attendance.

The event’s glamor will be further elevated by Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, and Alia Bhatt.

The Daily Mail, citing The Times, reveals that global pop and R&B singer Rihanna and Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh are slated to perform at the event.

Radhika Merchant, 29, is the daughter of Shri Viren Merchant, the CEO of the private pharmaceutical firm Encore Healthcare.

Anant Ambani, 28, is the youngest offspring of Mukesh Ambani, who leads the conglomerate Reliance Industries with revenues of US$110 billion. Forbes values Mukesh Ambani’s fortune at US$116 billion as of February 27, 2024.

The couple, having shared a bond of childhood friendship, pursued their studies in the U.S.
