Singapore Airlines, voted world's most loved international airline, was named the third most punctual in the Asia-Pacific last year, achieving an on-time performance rate of 78.67%, according to travel data analytics firm Cirium.

This achievement placed it just behind Japanese carriers Japan Airlines (80.9%) and All Nippon Airways (80.62%).

Cirium defines a flight as "on time" if it arrives or departs within 14 minutes and 59 seconds of its scheduled time.

Vietnam Airlines, the national flag carrier of Vietnam, ranked sixth in the region with an on-time performance rate of 76.7%.

Globally, Aeromexico, Mexico's flag carrier, was the most punctual airline with a score of 86.7%.

Singapore Airlines was voted the most loved international airline by readers of American magazine Travel+Leisure at the World's Best Awards in July last year thanks to its "excellent in-flight service and cabin comfort."

For years, Singapore Airlines has maintained a strong reputation for excellence in safety, service, and customer experience.
