Nguyen Nam Tien, deputy director of the airport, said that even during the busiest days of the Lunar New Year, there were still enough taxis to accommodate all passengers thanks to the buffer space, Tuoi Tre reported.
The Southern Airport Authority's temporary taxi area on a 3,500-square-meter plot of land next to the international terminal's entrance and the corner of Bach Dang, Truong Son, and Hong Ha streets in Tan Binh District made a significant contribution to ensuring a sufficient supply of taxis, Tien said.
