Singapore Airlines has announced the launch of a new service to Daxing International Airport in Beijing on Nov. 11 as tourism flourishes thanks to mutual visa exemptions.

There would be a daily service, using Boeing 787-10 aircraft, the carrier said in a statement.

Tickets go sale from June 24.

Located in the south of Beijing, Daxing airport allows passengers to access major tourist cities with world cultural heritage sites in China such as Beijing and Hebei.

China and Singapore have waived visas for each other's citizens since February.

Singapore has witnessed an influx of Chinese tourists in recent months.

Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia were the largest sources of visitors to mainland China in the first five months of the year, according to international online travel agency Trip.com.
