Seaplane service proposed between Ha Long and Co To Island

A new seaplane service between Tuan Chau and Co To Islands in Quang Ninh Province will be launched by Hai Au Aviation Company next month.

Nguyen Ba Hai, a seaplane pilot working for Hai Au, which also offers seaplane tours to see Ha Long Bay from above, said the new service would help reduce the travel time between Ha Long and Co To from 90 minutes to 20.

It will also allow passengers to admire the beauty of Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, Quan Lan, Minh Chau islands, and Co To from the air.

Tuan Chau in the southwest of Ha Long Bay is home to luxury hotels and amusement complexes.

Situated around 80 km from the mainland, Co To is famous for its pristine islets and primeval forests.
