Concert: In The Key of G Minor

Saigon Classical, a non-profit organization that aims to bring classical music closer to the public, will host a concert titled "In The Key of G Minor" on Sunday. The concert will feature the works of two renowned composers from different musical eras: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johannes Brahms, both of whom used the G minor key to create masterpieces of chamber music.

The G minor key is linked to feelings of mystery, seriousness, sadness, strength, and also contains touches of liveliness and vigor. This concert will exemplify these contrasting emotions through two compositions: Mozart's Piano Quartet No. 1 and Brahms' Piano Quartet No. 1. These compositions were created when the composers were in their late twenties and reflect their distinctive artistic styles and inspirations.

The concert will be held at 7 p.m. at the Arts and Literature Center, at 81 Tran Quoc Thao Street, District 3. Online registration is available at gminor.eventbrite.sg. The suggested donation is VND120.000 ($5).
