South Korean authorities said they would open a hotel built on a bridge crossing the Hangang River in July, allowing guests to admire scenic views of the iconic river and Seoul's skyline.

Located on the northern end of the Hangang Bridge, Sky Suite is set to open to the public on July 16, Korea Times reported.

It will be the world's first hotel on a bridge, according to a Korea Herald newspaper report.

The hotel suite features a living room, bedroom, and bathroom that can accommodate up to four guests.

A night's stay will cost from around 345,000-500,000 won ($250-361) and bookings can be made on U.S.-based accommodation platform Airbnb from July 1.
