Three Vietnamese bars among Asia's 100 best

Ne Cocktail&Wine Bar on Tong Duy Tan Street in Hanoi ranks 76th, one place ahead of Summer Experiment bar on Ly Tu Trong Street in HCMC's District 1, in the sixth annual ranking compiled by William Reed Business Media, a leading business magazine and digital media company headquartered in the U.K.

Hybrid bar in the central beach town of Nha Trang is in 96th spot.

The rankings are based on votes from 220 bartenders, bar owners, drinks writers, and cocktail aficionados.

Summer Experiment offers craft cocktail recipes while Ne Cocktail&Wine Bar claims it is "a favorite with foreign visitors for its unique cocktails inspired by the local culture".

Hybrid's website said the bar is designed like "a sea world" and can seat up to 40 guests at a time.

Japan leads the list with 14 bars in five cities while Singapore and Thailand have six each.

With a fourth Covid-19 wave hitting 26 localities in Vietnam, bars and pubs have been closed to contain the spread of the virus.
