Changi Airport of Singapore was voted the second most loved international airport in the world after Turkey's Istanbul Airport based on 700,000 votes cast by readers of American magazine Travel+Leisure.

Hamad International Airport in Qatar came in third, followed by Dubai International Airport in United Arab Emirates and Incheon International Airport in South Korea, according to World's Best Awards survey that rated airports based on criteria such as access, check-in/security, restaurants/bars, shopping and design.

The rest of the top 10 were Abu Dhabi International Airport (UAE), Haneda Tokyo Airport (Japan), Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (India), Hong Kong International Airport (China) and Osaka International Airport (Japan).

Changi Airport, home to the world's tallest indoor waterfall, has been voted one of world’s best many times.

The airport is famous for its modern amenities and services, duty-free shopping, indoor rainforest, and luxury hotels.

It has automated check-in and entry registration, biometric authentication systems and artificial intelligence to transport luggage.
