Changi Airport has been ranked the world’s second best facility for baggage delivery, following Japan’s Osaka Kansai Airport at number one, according to a passenger survey by Skytrax transport analyst.

Bahrain Airport in Bahrain came in third, followed by Qatar’s Doha Hamad and Japan’s Centrair Nagoya, according to the British rating organization.

The rest of the top 10 included Helsinki-Vantaa, Tokyo Haneda, Taiwan Taoyuan, Seoul Incheon and Dubai.

Kansai International Airport in Osaka said in a statement that since opening in September 1994, 20 to 30 million passengers have used the airport annually without a single bag having been misplaced or damaged.

To compile the list, Skytrax conducted the passenger satisfaction survey from August 2023 to March 2024. Analysts used a variety of data to evaluate passenger experiences at international areas across multiple criteria including wait time at baggage claim, the efficiency of baggage delivery, and the response to lost baggage.
