Changi in Singapore, home to the world's tallest indoor waterfall, was voted the world's best airport this year by online magazine Smart Travel Asia.

Haneda Airport in Tokyo came in second, followed by Hong Kong International Airport and Incheon International Airport in Seoul according to the 2025 Best in Travel Poll, which ran from June to August.

Hamad International Airport in Doha rounded out the top five.

The rest of the top 10 were Narita International Airport, Zurich Airport, Munich Airport, Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Changi features automated check-in counters and biometric authentication to speed up immigration procedures.

It recently became one of the first airports in the world to offer passport-free immigration clearance at all terminals, allowing travelers to clear immigration in as little as 10 seconds.
