The 55-year-old artist was seen scaling the 21,000-km-long structure, dressed in a tight black dress, sunglasses, and heels, accompanied by her two children, Moroccan and Monroe, on Sept. 14.
Carey shared her photos with 13.4 million Instagram followers with a caption: "It's great."
On her X account, she humorously added, "Someone should've warned me about heels."

Social media users were quick to express their surprise at her choice of footwear for the climb.
"Only Mariah Carey would walk the Great Wall of China in heels," one user remarked.
Another joked, "First woman to walk the Great Wall in heels."
The Great Wall, a UNESCO world heritage site, was built over centuries by China's emperors to protect their territory. It begins in the east at Shanhaiguan in Hebei Province and ends at Jiayuguan in Gansu Province in the west.
Carey often takes her children on vacation. In mid-August, she took her twins traveling in Europe after concluding her "The Celebration of Mimi" tour in Las Vegas. The three went on a cruise along the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
Carey first rose to fame in 1990 with her self-titled debut album, becoming the only artist to have their first five singles reach number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. She achieved international success with the best-selling albums "Music Box" (1993) and "Daydream" (1995), before embracing a new urban image with hip hop-inflected sounds on her 1997 album "Butterfly".
Referred to as the "Songbird Supreme" by Guinness World Records, Carey was ranked as the fifth greatest singer of all time by Rolling Stone in 2023.
