Hospitality giant IHG to open 2 hotels in Quang Binh

Global operator IHG Hotels & Resorts plans to open two hotels next year in the central province of Quang Binh, home to Son Doong, the world's largest cave.

To be located in the provincial capital Dong Hoi, 15 minutes from the airport, Crowne Plaza Quang Binh City Center Hotel will have 232 rooms and four restaurants and bars and all the bells and whistles of an international property.

voco Quang Binh Resort will have 68 beach villas, a private beach, two restaurants and bars, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a spa.

Quang Binh is home to UNESCO heritage site Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and often referred to as the "kingdom of caves" for its many limestone caves.

Last year it received 4.5 million visitors, 2.14 times more than in 2022.

IHG, whose 19 brands include Intercontinental and Holiday Inn, operates more than 6,400 hotels in over 100 countries and territories.
