Doha Hamad no longer world's best airport for passenger experience

The ranking evaluated 250 airports worldwide based on three key criteria: on-time performance, customer feedback, and the quality of food and retail services.

Doha Hamad last year was crowned as the world's best airport in the ranking but was pushed to the second position for receiving a score of 8.2 points out of 10 for on-time performance, lower than this year's champion at 8.6 points.

Doha Hamad scored 9 points for the quality of food and shops, higher than Cape Town with only 8.3 in that category.

As the primary airport serving Doha, Qatar's capital, Hamad airport offers a blend of modern design and top-tier amenities, including a luxury hotel with over 100 guest rooms, tropical gardens, and shopping malls.

With more than 55 dining options, the airport hosts renowned culinary brands like Gordon Ramsay Burger, Starbucks, and Burger King.
