Sunset Town in Phu Quoc Island offers daily artistic fireworks shows at sea, with each performance featuring over 100 effects, offering numerous surprises and bursting emotions.

Phu Quoc has become a prominent phenomenon both domestically and regionally as one of the first islands in the world to display fireworks every night since January 2024.

Tourists and islanders can enjoy the artistic fireworks shows every day at Sunset Town, south of the island, at 9:30 p.m., right after the multi-experience art show Kiss of the Sea.

The audience can enjoy a large-scale, elaborately created work of art with a variety of effects of fire, water, laser, 3D mapping, music, and performances by 60 international artists - a light party right at one of the world's largest ocean theaters.

Visitors in all other experience spaces of Sunset Town, such as Sunset Beach, Vui Phet Night Market, La Festa Curio Collection by Hilton Hotel, or coastal restaurants and hotels, can admire the fireworks display as well.

The artistic fireworks show in Sunset Town applies the most modern performance technology today, with more than 100 pyrotechnic effects and high- and low-range fireworks.

Each night the show embroiders flowers and weaves brocade on the Phu Quoc night sky.

One of the special features of the show is the fireworks effect combined with the mash-up music of classic songs such as "We Are the Champions," "Dancing Queen," and "Mamma Mia."

Lera, a tourist from Kazakhstan, said she felt overwhelmed and surprised to experience the show in Phu Quoc. "I got goosebumps with every scene. The fireworks effects at the end even made me cry because I was so excited."

Jun Woo, a Korean tourist, said that his family felt lucky to have the opportunity to watch the show.

"Fireworks were everywhere, right in front of our eyes, combined with music and other stage performance effects to create an unimaginably beautiful performance," Jun said.

Sun Group invested VND4,000 billion (US$162 million) in the artistic fireworks show at an entertainment complex in Hoang Hon Town.

To bring eye-catching shows every night, up to 600 fireworks, equivalent to the number of New Year's Eve fireworks at a Hanoi shooting point, are transported each day to the battlefield on the sea surface for installation.

A representative of Sun Group said that investing human resources and a huge budget in a nightly artistic fireworks show, regardless of the difficulties in bringing services and experiences to remote islands like Phu Quoc, is arduous and costly. "This clearly depicts Sun Group's mission of beautifying lands beyond profit goals."

In addition to the nightly art fireworks show, a series of high-class shows are also continuously invested in by Sun Group, launched in Sunset Town, such as "Kiss of the Sea," extreme sports art performances, "Vortex of Love," "Love Hurricane," "Puppet Viet," and other upcoming street shows..

They not only contribute to increasing the attraction of Phu Quoc but also position the island as a new tourist and entertainment paradise in Asia.
