Rixos has chosen Phu Quoc for its first all-inclusive resort in Southeast Asia, aiming to attract travelers seeking convenience and luxury.

Sun Group, in collaboration with Accor & Ennismore, on Dec. 5 announced the launch of Rixos in Phu Quoc. With 45 establishments in locations such as Turkey, Egypt, and the UAE, Rixos is introducing its all-inclusive model to the island, providing guests with a single upfront package covering accommodation, dining, entertainment, and relaxation.

When it opens, Rixos Phu Quoc will feature nearly 20 dining outlets, family-friendly amenities like private beaches, kids' clubs, pools, fitness centers, spas, and access to Sun Paradise Land attractions, including Sunset Town, the world's longest three-cable car ride, and Aquatopia Water Park.

Agnes Roquefort, Global Development Officer for Accor Luxury & Lifestyle, highlighted Phu Quoc's comprehensive tourism ecosystem as an ideal match for Rixos' all-inclusive concept, integrating accommodation, entertainment, and unique experiences.

Francois Boudin of Rixos Hotels emphasized the island's strong entertainment and service infrastructure as key to its selection.

Once known mainly for beaches and seafood, Phu Quoc has transformed to align with global luxury tourism trends.

The addition of all-inclusive options like Rixos aims to attract high-spending travelers and extend their stays.

Rixos joins other luxury brands on the island, including JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, The Luxury Collection, and Ritz Carlton Reserve Hon Thom.

Sun Group also plans to break ground on the $550-million Aspira Tower, a sail-shaped landmark on Hon Thom, on Dec. 10.

These developments underscore Phu Quoc's rise as a global destination, supported by new flight routes and international collaborations, especially from Gulf countries and Turkey—key markets home to world-class airlines and bustling international hubs like Dubai and Qatar.
