A new series of "Chef's Table" is led by Le Méridien Saigon's Executive Chef Nguyen Phi Cong, who was named Chef of the Year 2023 by LUXUO magazine, in order to honor the diverse international cuisine.

The hotel aims to leave an impression through its "Pause + Savour" series by emphasizing the importance of: celebrating the ingredients, being simply attractive, honoring the talents, and delighting every taste.

Starting in 2024, Le Méridien Saigon will consistently host "Pause + Savour" events, featuring a fusion of renowned culinary traditions from various global epicenters.

The initial chapters will draw inspiration from Asia, featuring iconic cuisines such as South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan.

This will be accomplished through partnerships with talented culinary professionals from famous hotel brands belonging to Marriott, both domestically and internationally.

The first episode of the series, happening during Korean Week at Le Méridien Saigon from April 22–28, was named "Seoul Inspiration" in the presence of guest chefs from Le Méridien Seoul Myeongdong. It features the culinary collaboration between two Le Méridien hotels, one in Seoul and the other in Ho Chi Minh City.

The chefs from both cultures meticulously handpicked all the ingredients for this dining experience.

The guest chef who opens the first chapter of culinary experiences will be Executive Chef Theo Park of Le Méridien Seoul Myeongdong.

With over two decades of experience with prestigious hotel brands and a deep immersion in the culinary scene of Seoul, Park draws inspiration from Korean cuisine to create unforgettable dining experiences for his guests.
