Denmark's Crown Prince Frederik, who is on a visit to Vietnam, on Tuesday visited some tourist spots in Hanoi and watched a water puppet show.

After receiving a state welcome from government leaders, Frederik and his entourage toured the Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake and walked on the The Huc Bridge to Ngoc Son Temple, one of the capital's iconic sights.

They then went to the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater on Hang Bac Street to explore Dong Ho paintings, a unique Vietnamese art.

The prince tried his hand at painting before watching a water puppet show depicting rural life in the northern delta.
