The shooting took place around 1 a.m. outside the Ornic Pub on Royal City Avenue, one of Bangkok’s most popular entertainment venues, National Thailand reported.
A party was in full swing when a man showed up and began arguing with a partygoer before pulling out his gun and firing several shots into the ground.
Police officers rushed to the scene and found 10 bullet casings in the area.
The suspect was detained the same day.
Though Songkran festivities officially ended last Saturday, water fights continue to be held across Bangkok.
