A plane of Turkish-German airline SunExpress took off from Paris to Izmir in Turkey, leaving 30 passengers at the airport.

The incident occurred on November 18 at Charles de Gaulle Airport as the flight was initially scheduled for 5 p.m. but was delayed by three hours, Turkey’s leading airport site AirportHaber reported.

By 8 p.m. information about the departure time had not appeared.

The passengers decided to check the status of their flight and discovered that the plane had already departed.

The passengers could not contact airline representatives while the plane landed safely in Izmir.

SunExpress representatives later contacted the forgotten passengers and brought them to a hotel, and provided them with seats on the next flight to Turkey.
