A coastal road stretching 80 kilometers in Phan Thiet Town in the south central region is expected to be completed by 2030.

The construction of the road, which would connect Ke Ga and Mui Ne resort town, was announced on Monday. The road would begin at Bac Binh District and end at Ham Thuan Nam District.

The coastline of Phan Thiet of Binh Thuan Province is currently segmented by estuaries, neighborhoods and tourism projects. The future coastal road would see more roads and bridges built for connectivity as well.

Binh Thuan authorities would not approve for new construction projects on the coast in Phan Thiet to keep its beaches more accessible to locals and tourists. The two sides of the Ca Ty River, which runs through Phan Thiet, will be renovated and new roads built.

Phan Thiet’s urban planning also includes a project to connect Le Duan-Nguyen Tat Thanh Boulevard with Le Loi Street, creating an axis for the development of a commercial-service center as well as more urban areas and neighborhoods.
