A car driver in central Nghe An Province hit traffic police officers with the vehicle after refusing to get his alcohol level checked.

A traffic police team of Vinh City requested a man driving a Mazda car on Tran Phu Street to pull over for a check-up at around 8 p.m. Sunday.

However, the driver did not heed the request and turned the car around. Six officers surrounded the car and tried to stop the vehicle, knocking on the glass and demanded the driver to come out. However, the driver sped up and hit the traffic police officers, forcing them to jump to the sides to evade the vehicle.

An officer recorded the incident with a phone, as well as taking photos of the driver's face and the car's license plate. The car later managed to escape from the officers and ran away.
