Prosser posted a video on his Front Page Technology YouTube channel on Christmas Eve, showcasing 3D renderings of Apple’s rumored foldable iPhone, claiming it is set to debut in the fall of 2026, according to Interesting Engineering.
This leak comes as part of an ongoing lawsuit filed by Apple against Prosser in July, accusing him and another individual of stealing trade secrets in a complex plot to obtain confidential information about operating software iOS 26. These details were later leaked through Prosser’s YouTube videos. In August, one month before the iPhone 17 launch, Prosser leaked renders of the iPhone 17 Pro, Phone Arena reported.

If accurate, the latest leak outlines what could be Apple’s most radical iPhone redesign in over a decade. Prosser claims Apple has considered two foldable designs, ultimately opting for one similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. The device is expected to be called the "iPhone Ultra" rather than the previously speculated "iPhone Fold."
The foldable iPhone is projected to be 9 mm thick when closed, slightly thicker than the iPhone 17 Pro Max at 8.75 mm. When opened, it will measure 4.5 mm. The inner screen will be 7.8 inches, while the outer screen will be 5.5 inches. The device will feature four cameras: one on the outer screen, two on the back in a horizontal array, and a fourth camera on the inner screen.

Prosser also confirmed previous reports that Apple plans to remove Face ID to optimize internal space, integrating Touch ID into the power button. The first foldable iPhone is expected to be powered by the A20 Pro chip, built on a 2 nm process, and a custom 5G modem, C2, developed by Apple, Prosser added. It will feature a large battery ranging from 5,400 to 5,800 mAh. This foldable iPhone is anticipated to be the most expensive in Apple’s history, with a starting price between $2,000 and $2,500, expected to launch alongside the iPhone 18, Prosser said.
Analysts predict that the foldable iPhone could significantly drive growth in the foldable phone market, which currently accounts for just 1% to 2.5% of the global smartphone market but is expected to reach 5% by 2028.
