The world’s most popular YouTuber, MrBeast, has plans for a mobile-phone service with a rollout expected in 2026, Business Insider reported.

But a source close to his company said it is not a top priority and has no timeline.

The 27-year-old content creator, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is expected to skip building his own network from the ground up and instead launch a MrBeast-branded mobile service as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) by partnering with a carrier like T-Mobile or Verizon.

Other celebrities have employed the model with success. Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds sold his MVNO, Mint Mobile, to T-Mobile in a deal worth about $1.35 billion, news website Tech Crunch reported.

MrBeast’s business portfolio includes chocolate company Feastables, lunch brand Lunchly, and a toy line.

But despite his 430 million YouTube subscribers, MrBeast’s media operations have yet to turn a profit.

Feastables brought in around $250 million in revenue and $20 million in profits last year, Bloomberg said.

During that time the media business, which includes his YouTube channel and a reality show on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video, generated similar revenues but losses of nearly $80 million.

MrBeast began posting videos of himself playing video games on YouTube at age 11. After years of studying what content performed best, he dropped out of college to focus full-time on YouTube.

Forbes ranked him the world’s top creator in 2025 with over 600 million social media followers and estimated earnings of $85 million.

Earlier this year it valued his net worth at around $1 billion, making him the world’s youngest self-made billionaire.
