Earlier in February Facebook Messenger suffered an hour-long outage that blocked desktop messaging and caused intermittent failures on the mobile app.
On Dec. 12, 2024, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp were down or unstable for over four hours.
In March they were down for about an hour.
