Shared on May 21 through the Tesla Optimus X account, the video quickly gained traction online. It humorously referenced an earlier clip of the robot dancing, with the caption: "I’m not just dancing all day, ok."
In this latest demonstration, Optimus exhibits more natural movement and human-like coordination. Tesla says the robot learned these tasks by analyzing human behavior through real-time machine learning and object recognition, using video footage of people as training data, according to The Independent.
Musk described Optimus as Tesla’s "biggest product ever."
Milan Kovac, head of the Optimus team, said: "One of our goals is to have Optimus learn straight from internet videos of humans doing tasks."
While Optimus does not watch videos like a human, it extracts key data, such as gestures and task sequences, to train its models, according to tech site Digital Trends.
