Chinese robotics firm AgiBot has released footage of its AI-powered humanoid robot, the Lingxi X2, performing Kung Fu moves, breaking boards, and recovering from falls with speed and precision.

Measuring 1.3 meters tall and weighing 33.8 kilograms, the X2 displays precise coordination and advanced balance by synchronizing its limbs to perform martial arts and recover from a face-down position without assistance. Dubbed the world’s first truly interactive "dynamic robot," the X2 reacts to human interaction in milliseconds using multimodal engagement technology, according to Interesting Engineering.

It analyzes facial expressions and voice tones to detect emotional cues and responds with human-like gestures and movements. Its design includes simulated breathing, environmental awareness, and subtle body language to improve communication.

At the core of the X2 is AgiBot’s Genie Operator-1 (GO-1) AI model, which uses zero-sample generalization, enabling it to perform tasks without prior training. GO-1 also introduces "latent actions," a technique that helps the robot understand motion by analyzing visual sequences in real time.

AgiBot says the model allows the X2 to adapt to unfamiliar settings, handle various tasks, and operate across multiple robotic platforms while continuously learning. With its dynamic movement and emotional awareness, the X2 is positioned as a rival to Chinese robotics firm Unitree’s G1 model, known for its acrobatics and recent participation in the world’s first humanoid boxing match.

Launched in March 2025, the Lingxi X2 is intended for general-purpose use in fields such as healthcare and education, where it can serve as a housekeeper, janitor, or security assistant.

AgiBot said the X2 marks a major step forward in humanoid robotics, offering a glimpse into a future where emotionally intelligent machines assist in everyday life.
