VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang to return in August 2023

More than two months after the first tournament, VnExpress Marathon organizers and Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee have decided to bring back VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang in August next year.

Held in a favorite international tourist destination, the race is expected to attract foreign athletes to come, combining the marathon with tourism purpose.

VM Nha Trang 2023 would make many changes to the course to exploit the most stunning roads in the city, offering a new experience to participants.

VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023 will have the same competition timeline as the first season. Nha Trang weather in August is pleasant, not too hot, with not too much rainfall. Athletes can fully enjoy the beauty of the city with the longest running track in the VnExpress Marathon system ever.

According to the organizers, the first season's success had great impact on the local sport community. For the first time, Nha Trang had a marathon with 8,500 participants, drawing tens of thousands of visitors at the same time. Athletes were impressed by the running track, organization, landscape and tourism services of the city.

"Nha Trang is a tourist haven with many beautiful roads and untouched landscapes. We want to bring all of that into next year's race. We also expect the tournament to be an event that combines tourism and sports", said the organizers's representative.

VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2022 is the largest marathon event ever held in Khanh Hoa, with 1,200 volunteers and 600 policemen supporting and ensuring security for the race.

The running track covered two-thirds of the coastal routes, passing by iconic streets of Nha Trang such as Tran Phu and Pham Van Dong. The winding Luong Son Pass became a challenge but also a unique part of the race.

VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023 will open for registration in the next few days and the "super early tickets" phase is expected to last for three weeks, with many incentives for runners and clubs.
