AIMS issued certificates for four running tracks on November 14. Kim Vivian, an AIMS expert, came to Vietnam early this month to measure the running tracks.
With the AIMS standard, runners can use the results at VnExpress Marathon tournaments to apply for major world races such as the Boston Marathon, London Marathon, or Berlin Marathon.
All VM tournaments in 2022 meet AMS standards. Many elite runners have used the results at VM tournaments to successfully apply for Boston Marathon in the U.S.

While measuring the VM Hanoi Midnight tracks, Vivian said the tournament's course offers a tour around destinations of Hanoi such as the Hoan Kiem Lake, the West Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and the Old Quarter.
The flat routes and ideal weather are favorable conditions for athletes to set personal records.
The only note is that athletes need to stay warm and hydrated when running in cold weather.
Vivian believed that VM, particularly the Hanoi Midnight race, has necessary factors to become a big running event that draws many international runners.
"Hanoi has many historical sites. I believe this place will become a priority destination for international runners in the future."

All of the 2022 VM tournaments' running tracks were directly measured by Vivian.
"I was never disappointed about the quality of the routes and the organization. Any track is prepared to the finest," said Kim.
VM Hanoi Midnight 2022 will take place on the night of November 26 and the early morning of November 27, attracting more than 8,000 runners. The tournament was organized by VnExpress newspaper in collaboration with Hanoi People's Committee. The tournament's primary sponsor is Aqua Vietnam.
The preparations were nearly finished two weeks prior to the event. Running through Hanoi's famous streets is expected to be a remarkable experience for runners in VM's final marathon of the year.
