This is the final marathon of 2025 held in Hanoi, wrapping up the autumn-winter season for one of Vietnam’s most vibrant running communities. In its fifth edition, organizers have optimized the route, lighting, and medical support to ensure the best possible experience for runners.

To mark the Double 11 Singles’ Day and the year’s biggest shopping event - a 20% discount is being offered for the 5km and 10km distances. Discounted prices are VND680,000 ($26) and VND920,000 ($35), equal to the regular rate. The 21km and 42km distances remain at VND1.35 million ($51) and VND1.65 million ($63). Registration is available here.
Runners completing the 42km race will receive a finisher windbreaker, while those in the 21km category will get a finisher T-shirt. All finishers will earn a Hanoi-themed medal designed exclusively for this year's race.
Participants are entitled to full VnExpress Marathon benefits. The race route is certified by the Vietnam Athletics Federation and meets World Athletics standards. The entire course is separated from traffic and comes with personal insurance for each runner.

The event will feature full medical coverage, water stations, electrolytes, and fruit along the route. Each runner will receive a race kit with essential gear. After the race, finishers can download free photos from the official system.
This year, the event also marks the first time Puma joins as the title sponsor, promising a series of engaging activities at the expo and on race day to inspire runners to embrace the joy of running.
Race kits will be distributed at Tran Nhan Tong walking street on Nov. 28-29. The marathon will begin at 0 a.m. on Nov. 30, starting with the 42km group, followed by 21km, 10km, and 5km.
The route passes Hanoi icons like Hoan Kiem Lake, the Opera House, and Long Bien Bridge, offering runners a unique experience through the capital city’s illuminated and vibrant nightscape. The race has consistently attracted international runners in past editions.
