VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong launches runner shirts

VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong 2023 will start on Dec. 17, the last VnExpress Marathon system tournament this year. One month before the race, the organizers have launched a set of race tee, including T-shirts, singlets, and finisher shirts for 21, 42 km athletes.

The race tee is orange-red, inspired by the poinciana flower - symbolic of the city, while the watercolor of Tam Bac Lake is the primary tone of the finisher shirt. The patterns on the shirt are adapted from bows of ships breaking waves and port cranes.

The organizers chose antibacterial microfiber fabric, which is thin and airy, reduces sweat odor and brings comfort to the wearer during outdoor sports activities. This fabric is less likely to be wrinkled or lose color over time.

The shirt collection uses heat transfer printing technology for a variety of motifs and patterns. Thermal ink penetrates each fabric fiber, ensures that the images are clear, not fade when the shirt is washed, or break apart when it is stretched. The product is distributed by Key Power Sports Vietnam Company.

Athletes can choose between a T-shirt and a singlet, according to initial registration. Runners who complete the half and full marathon will receive a finisher shirt.

"During the past year, we have had many experiments. Up to this point, VM Hai Phong has the best quality shirts in the VM system, from materials to production technology. This is a gift to those who have accompanied us for many years," an organizer representative said.

VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong is expected to attract 9,000 attendees. The first season of VM Hai Phong will provide quality amenities, such as medical care, water supply, and track security.
