Park refused to give his take on the fact that Indonesia played in low blocks and stayed back on defense most of the time.
"Sometimes Vietnam have to play defensively too. We should not give our opinion on that," he said.
On Bishan Stadium, Vietnam dominated with 70 percent of possession and had 21 shots compared to Indonesia's one. The Golden Dragons also got seven corners while Indonesia only had one. However, Vietnam couldn't crack through the thick defense and rough playing style of Indonesia. This is the first time that Park's Vietnam failed to win against Indonesia.
"I think all players have fulfilled their roles. It would be good if we could score, but we have to accept a draw because the opponent also tried their best in this game," Park added.
Vietnam are still second in group B after the draw, with seven points like Indonesia but scored less goals. In the last game, Vietnam will encounter an eliminated Cambodia, while Indonesia will be in a tough match with Malaysia to fight for a spot in the semifinals. A win against Cambodia will send Vietnam straight to the next round.
"Indonesia and Malaysia will have to fight for a spot in the semifinals. In the last game, we will face Cambodia and we will go all in to claim victory," Park said.
