VM 2019 will be held in Quy Nhon, capital of the central province of Binh Dinh, on June 9.
Four distances are on offer: 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers, 21 kilometers (half marathon) and 42 kilometers.
Runners can register from now until February 5 to get the Super Early Birds price of VND250,000-750,000 ($10.80-32.35) based on the distance.
After the run, the participants’ chip tag number will be raffled to select winners of various prizes including watches, running shoes and gift certificates.
This is also a run for charity. Organizers will donate 10 percent of the ticket sales proceeds to VnExpress’ Hope Foundation that works to improve learning facilities for disadvantaged students.
The marathon’s goal is also to spread the sporting spirit and strengthen the sense of community.
