The two-time Olympic gold medalist clinched four medals at the event: gold in the floor exercise and bronze in the individual all-around, vault and parallel bars.

"My mahal, my champion. As you stepped onto the floor again, know that my heart is with you, always," she wrote. "You are more than an athlete, you are a living testament to grace under pressure, strength guided by purpose, and love led by the faith you carry; not just in your body, but in your spirit. Thank you for showing the world what quiet strength and unwavering dedication look like. And I thank the universe every day for the blessing of witnessing your journey up close."
She added: "I celebrate your victory and the fire that burns so brightly in you. I'm so, so proud of you and will always be cheering for you, not just as an athlete, but as the man that you are."
Yolo replied, writing: "Iloveyou mahal ko."
The post has since garnered over 10,700 likes on Instagram and nearly 10,000 reactions on Facebook.
The couple first got acquainted online in 2020, later becoming official despite the distance: Chloe studied in Australia while Carlos trained in Japan. They first met in person at the 2022 SEA Games in Hanoi.
In another post on X, Yulo shared his reflections on the competition, his first since the 2024 Paris Olympics ten months ago.
"A lot can happen in that kind of silence. So does growth. All I prayed for coming into this competition was to be healthy, steady, and get through it safely... but God gave me so much more than I ever wished for," he wrote. "I'm grateful for the chance to move again, to compete with my passion for gymnastics, and to carry every lesson from the past year with me."
He called the comeback "personal," attributing it to grace, faith, patience, and the support of those around him.
Yulo thanked his coaches Aldrin, Nedal, and Ma'am Bethel as well as his teammates and support team.
"To everyone who supported me through the quiet season, to God be all the glory. We're back!" he added.
According to Forbes, Yulo, 24, is celebrated as the most decorated Filipino gymnast in history. He made history by becoming the first Filipino to win two gold medals in a single Olympics, taking victories in the floor exercise and vault at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
