The League of Legends world final between T1 and Bilibili Gaming (BLG) set a new global viewership record on Nov. 2 with 6.9 million, according to Esports Charts.

It beats last year's final viewership of 6.4 million, a showdown between T1 and WBG.

On YouTube, peak viewership surpassed 3.3 million, while Twitch attracted 2.5 million viewers. In South Korea, viewership peaked at 1.6 million, and in the U.K. it reached 1.8 million.

In Vietnam, the event was broadcast live by On Live eSports on channels including On Sports and HTV Sports and streamed via platforms such as VTVcab, TV360, K+, MyTV, Vie On and SCTV. This achieved more than 1.1 million simultaneous views on social media.

These record-breaking numbers solidify the League of Legends World Championship as the most-watched professional esports event of all time.

The championship match in London, England, saw T1, representing South Korea, claim their fifth title after an intense showdown, while China's BLG remains without a world title.
