Vietnamese star defender shows off $21,000 Rolex watch

Defender Vu Van Thanh recently shared a photo on social media and caught attention with the Rolex watch on his wrist that is worth over VND550 million ($21,150).

Thanh posted a series of stylish photos along with a romantic caption on April 3. His post quickly racked up thousands of likes and hundreds of comments from friends and fans alike.

Among the details that stood out was the Rolex GMT-Master II on his wrist, valued between VND550 and over 600 million.

Besides the flashy watch, Thanh has accumulated a collection of valuable assets, thanks to his successful football career.

The defender, born in 1996, was part of the Vietnam team that won the 2024 ASEAN Cup, earning bonuses in the billions of VND.

When he signed a two-year deal with domestic club Cong An Ha Noi in 2023, he reportedly received a signing bonus of around VND8 billion.

He is also among the top-earning domestic players in the V. League, with a monthly salary of VND60-80 million, and frequently collaborates with brands for endorsements.

In mid-2023, Thanh added a Porsche Macan S, worth nearly VND4 billion, to his collection. Prior to that, he invested in a luxury duplex apartment in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, valued at over VND10 billion. He also owns real estate in Gia Lai Province, worth billions of VND.

Off the field, Thanh is enjoying a romantic relationship with Tran Bich Hanh, a fitness influencer with over 625,000 Instagram followers.

Hanh regularly shares glimpses of her lavish lifestyle, including luxury cars worth billions of VND and frequent travels.

The couple began dating in 2023 and recently went public with their relationship.
