For six games of the final round, coach Park Hang-seo used three different keepers: Dang Van Lam, Tan Truong and Nguyen Van Toan. But despite trying different options, Vietnam have conceded in every game.

Due to injury, Lam only played once in the final round, against Australia. In this game, the 28-year-old didn’t have to work too much, but a moment of indecision let Australia score the only goal from a header and win 1-0. SofaScore gave him 6.30 points for his performance in the match.

Toan, 21, has also only played one match against Oman, where Vietnam suffered a 1-3 defeat. It was a tough game for the young keeper, especially during corners while surrounded by Omani players. His score for the match is 6.00.

In the remaining four games, Truong, 35, was chosen as the main keeper. Despite conceding eight goals, feedback for his performance was positive. His average score in four games is 6.85.

Vietnam will play AFF Cup in December and Truong will most likely continue as main keeper while Lam and Toan recover from their injuries.
