There will be four price stamps for the tickets: VND500,000 ($22), VND700,000, VND900,000 and VND1.2 million. These prices are double compared to the previous games Vietnam played in My Dinh.
Each person will only get to purchase two tickets when Vietnam play Japan and Saudi Arabia at home in November.
Since the game will only welcome 12,000 people, Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) will sell 10,000 tickets and give 2,000 to partners and sponsors. Tickets can be bought via the VinID app. The opening time for buying tickets will be announced soon.
To prepare for the games, My Dinh Stadium has been renovated to meet the requirements of the Asian Football Confederation.
Spectators must either be fully vaccinated at least 14 days before the match or have recovered from Covid-19 within the last six months. They must also test negative for the coronavirus at least 72 hours prior, and abide by pandemic prevention measures like keeping a safe distance and wearing masks.
This is Vietnam’s first time in the final round of World Cup qualifiers. They have lost their first four matches against Saudi Arabia, Australia, China and Oman.
The team will face Japan on Nov. 11 and Saudi Arabia on the 16th.
