Bruna Biancardi, the pregnant girlfriend of Brazilian football star Neymar, revealed during a Q&A with fans on that the two are "married on paper."

During an Instagram session with her nearly 14 million followers on June 7, Biancardi, a model and content creator, was asked when she and Neymar planned to marry. She replied: "We are already married on paper," sparking renewed interest in the couple's relationship status.

Her statement came three months after Neymar publicly denied rumors of their marriage. At the time, Brazilian media speculated that the 33-year-old striker was planning a wedding with Biancardi during his return to play for Santos, his boyhood club.

Previously, Neymar dismissed the claims in an interview, saying, "There's nothing planned yet. Tell me a date so I can at least get ready!"

Although Neymar has frequently referred to Biancardi as his "wife" in interviews, the couple has never made a formal wedding announcement, Daily Mail reported.

Neymar and Biancardi have been together for three years and welcomed their first daughter, Mavie, in 2023. However, the relationship has faced turbulence. Neymar previously admitted to cheating on Biancardi and issued a public apology. Biancardi chose to forgive him.

The couple briefly split before reuniting and announcing late last year that they were expecting their second child. Still, rumors of Neymar's continued infidelity have surfaced.

According to Daily Mail, Neymar is currently recovering from Covid-19. He suspended all activities on June 5 after showing symptoms and is reportedly resting at home under medical supervision.

Born in 1992, Neymar is one of the most marketable athletes in world football. He rose to fame in Brazil before joining Barcelona, where he won two La Liga titles and a Champions League. He later transferred to PSG, then moved to Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia, before returning to Santos earlier this year.

The 33-year-old has an eventful personal life, with two children from previous relationships in addition to Mavie.
