Luiz, 26, returned home to a mess after Juventus defeated Lazio 1-0 in Serie A on Saturday night. At that time, Lehmann, 25, was staying at a hotel with the Juventus women’s team to prepare for the match against Inter on Sunday, Mundo Deportivo reported.
The alarm was triggered around 1:30 a.m. when Luiz came home and police were called to the scene.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Luiz’s 11 luxury watches and some diamond necklaces of Lehmann were stolen, amounting to around $550,000.
The couple’s house is located in an high-end area of Turin. Many other Juventus players are also living there.
This is not the first time that Juventus stars have been targeted by burglars as in recent years, players like Angel Di Maria, Moise Kean and Kaio Jorge had to deal with similar incidents.
Luiz joined Juventus this summer for $55 million from Premier League side Aston Villa. Before signing to Villa, he was a Manchester City player.
Lehmann, a Swiss player, also left Villa and followed her boyfriend to join Juventus in the summer.
The pair first went public with their relationship in 2021 before breaking up in 2022 and reconciled shortly after that.
