FPT acquires exclusive rights to UEFA Champions League 2021-2024 in Vietnam

Tech giant FPT has announced the acquisition of the media and broadcasting rights for all club-level UEFA competitions from 2021-2024, including Champions League.

FPT said after the negotiation phase, they now own the exclusive media rights of over 1,000 club-level UEFA matches in Vietnam.

In particular, from 2021-2024, FPT’s customers will be able to enjoy all matches of the most prestigious tournaments in Europe and the world, including UEFA Super Cup with one match a season, UEFA Champions League, the most famous club football championship in the world, with 137 matches, UEFA Europa League with 141, UEFA Europa Conference League with 141 matches per season, and UEFA Youth League with 39.

Among the tournaments FPT owns the exclusive rights to, UEFA Champions League features prestigious clubs with the most elite players in the world. It has attracted millions of Vietnamese fans over the years.

"UEFA is very pleased to announce FPT as its new media partner. Through its innovative and high-quality coverage plan, UEFA will bring its club level tournaments closer to Vietnamese fans," said Guy Laurent Epstein, marketing director at UEFA.
